Meet Ernie, the guy behind the lens
I’m the photographer behind EP3 Photo, drawn to real people, honest moments, and the quiet in-between details that often go unnoticed. Photography, for me, has always been about observation first—paying attention to light, expression, and atmosphere before anything else.
My work spans weddings, family sessions, and portraits, but the approach stays consistent: observe first, guide gently when it helps, and step back when it doesn’t. I’m especially drawn to working with light in all its forms—natural, soft, or low and atmospheric—to shape images that feel grounded, cinematic, and unforced.
At its core, I’m interested in creating photographs that feel like real memory—something honest, calm, and lasting, rather than overly constructed or staged.
I keep sessions relaxed and straightforward. Most people aren’t naturally comfortable in front of a camera, so I focus on creating an environment where they don’t have to think about it. That’s usually where the most natural moments happen. The goal is simple: let people be themselves, and build everything around that.
Outside of sessions, I’m often experimenting with lighting setups or scouting locations with strong character and natural atmosphere. I love spending time in coffee shops, and I’m usually looking for new places or environments that inspire future work or travel opportunities.
